Ideally situated at the foot of the famous Roche de Solutré, in the hamlet of Pouilly, the Trouillet estate is currently run by William (4th generation). The chardonnay fruit was hand-picked, gently pressed, then fermented in Burgundian oak to preserve freshness and finesse. The wine displays a fresh, open nose, the palate shows a good attack of vibrant flavour, with generosity and complexity important aspects of the signature. Sourced from 50 year old vines, this wine exhibits all of the finesse expected of the grand white wines of Burgundy.
